Rooted Soul Women's Gathering – Bali 2026

September 13-19, 2026

This is not a Retreat, it's a Return Home

The true power of a Woman doesn’t come from outside approval or fleeting validation, it comes from a strong, unwavering foundation. When she remembers who she is and anchors that knowing deep within her being, she moves through the world as a living bridge, connecting the Wisdom of the Earth to the Light of the Heavens.

🌿 The Deeply Rooted Woman…

…Is Grounded: Like the ancient tree whose roots run deep into the earth, she stands firm in her Truth. Her values anchor her, making her unshakable even amidst the fiercest of life’s storms.

…Is Self-Aware: She embodies the Wisdom of knowing herself, her boundaries, her emotions, her gifts. In honoring her essence, she moves through life with presence, clarity and grace.

…Is Resilient: Her strength is not a mask or performance, but a quiet, authentic power. She bends with the winds of adversity yet never breaks, rising again with deeper Wisdom each time.

…Is Connected: She is woven into the fabric of Earth, Spirit, and community. Her presence is a reminder that we are all part of something greater. She walks with purpose, knowing her role in the sacred rhythm of life.

“When the roots are deep, there is no reason to fear the wind.” – African Proverb.

FAQ:

WHAT IS THE REFUND POLICY?:

This retreat is non-refundable for cancellations made by the attendee. Travel insurance is advisable to cover the need for any unforeseen cancellations.

WHEN SHOULD I ARRIVE AND LEAVE BALI?:

Check in is at 3pm and there will be a Welcome Ceremony followed by dinner in the evening, so we suggest you have a flight that has you arriving in Bali in the morning before 12pm, this gives you time to get through customs and make your way to Ubud. For departure, we suggest an afternoon flight as you will check out and need to get to the airport, anything after 3pm is recommended. Remember to factor in flight time as well as the time difference between the location you are flying out of, and Bali time.

HOW FAR AWAY IS THE VENUE FROM THE AIRPORT?:

The venue in Ubud is approximately 1hr away from Denpasar International Airport. Airport transfer costs are not included in the registration fees, however we will assist you with arranging a private car and driver from the airport to the venue and back ahead of time. Avoid last-minute Taxi/Car services at the airport.

CAN I DRINK THE WATER IN BALI?

No! Always drink bottled or filtered water. 99% of restaurants in Bali use bottled water for all cooking purposes and it is advisable to drink and brush teeth with bottled water to avoid 'Bali Belly' - a mild dysentery which can occur but passes in a few days.

WHAT IS THE WEATHER LIKE IN BALI IN SEPTEMBER?

In September, Bali has warm, sunny, and pleasant weather with temperatures around 81-86° during the day and 73° at night. The humidity is lower than the wet season, making it feel more comfortable. There is plenty of sunshine with clear skies, though brief rain is possible and moderate winds, but they are not usually strong enough to disrupt any activities.

WHAT CLOTHING SHOULD I BRING?

Light, breathable clothing for the daytime, a light rain jacket or umbrella for potential showers, sun protection such as a hat and/or sunscreen, and sandals/comfortable walking shoes. Also bring a swimsuit/swimwear for the pool and sauna, comfortable activewear and/or other clothing for yoga and other movement activities, and appropriate clothing for off-venue activities. When entering temples you must be respectful and have your shoulders covered and wear a sarong - typically sarongs are provided for you when you visit a temple.

DO I NEED A VISA TO ENTER BALI? ANYTHING ELSE?

Americans need a Visa on Arrival (VoA) for visits up to 30 days (around $35 USD). The VoA can be purchased online before your trip or upon arrival in Bali (purchasable at Bali airport, at the counters which are located just in front of Immigration where your passport is checked).

You will need a passport valid for at least six months and an outbound ticket to enter Indonesia.

You will also need an "All Indonesia" Arrival Card: Complete this digital form online within 3 days (72 hours) of arrival, which covers immigration, customs, and health declarations. You will receive a QR code to show at immigration.

Lastly, International visitors to Bali are required to pay a mandatory tourist environmental and cultural preservation fee of approximately $10 per person, per entry. This fee is separate from any visa costs and applies to all foreign tourists, including children. It is highly recommended to pay the tax online before arrival to ensure a smoother process at the airport.

- Online: Use the official "Love Bali" website at lovebali.baliprov.go.id or download the Love Bali mobile app. After payment, you will receive a voucher with a QR code via email, which you should save on your phone or print to be scanned upon arrival.

- On Arrival: Payment counters are available at Ngurah Rai International Airport and seaports in Bali. These counters accept cashless transactions only. *Important: Only use the official lovebali.baliprov.go.id portal to avoid potential scam websites that charge higher fees.

*IMPORTANT NOTE ON AVOIDING SCAMS*

As with many other international destinations, it is HIGHLY recommended that you remain discreet about your status as a first-time visitor to Bali, especially upon arrival at the airport. This helps you to avoid drawing attention to yourself from people who try to take advantage of tourists via scams, inflated prices for taxis or tours, or other deceptive practices.

WHAT ABOUT CREDIT CARDS, CASH, EXCHANGE RATES, AND MONEY CHANGERS?

Most small shops, warungs/restaurants and tour companies run on cash only. ATM machines are abundant on the island, most having the Cirrus and Plus connection. You often get a very good exchange rate via ATM and it is convenient. Money Changers are all over the island, although not all of them are trustworthy. Try and stay away from the small storefront Balinese money changers (the guys with handwritten signs and made-up rates). The larger establishments, or those that say, “authorized money changer” will be a safer bet. In a dire situation, you can always get a cash advance at a local bank, but it will cost you 18-20% from your bank PLUS another % from the Bali Bank. As far as exchange rates go, if you have travelers checks, their rates are different than CASH and the smaller the bill, the less the rate. $5 is worth less to a money changer than $100, and the rate they will give you will reflect that. Visa and MasterCard are the cards of choice in Indonesia. Remember to inform your credit card's issuing bank about your intended trip or else you will risk getting your credit card accounts frozen from 'un-expected activity'.

A little background on Rooted Soul and its facilitators…
Stephanie Wontorski of Arcana Wellness Studio & AZ Stone Co,; Lori Vellutini of Rowan Grove Integrative Holistic Support - A Tale of Two Sisters...

After years of simply trying to survive the weight of painful family dynamics, Lori and
Stephanie found themselves estranged, their bond stretched thin by circumstances
beyond their control. Seventeen years passed with little more than fragments of contact,
until the recent passing of their grandmother drew them back into each other’s lives. In
the tender space of reunion, they uncovered something extraordinary: That in all those
years apart, life had quietly guided them along parallel paths, each becoming a Reiki
Master, each devoted to a similar, yet unique Healing path. It was as if their Souls had
been whispering to one another across the miles, weaving a shared Journey of Spirit
and purpose even when their earthly lives seemed divided. In that moment of
reconnection, they realized that love, lineage, and destiny had never truly let them go,
they had been walking side by side all along, waiting for the right time to remember.
It is within this fertile soil of reunion and undercurrents of Ancestral Remembering that
Rooted Soul was born. Forged in fire, rising from the ashes of Ancestral Trauma, and
guided by the gentle yet powerful whispers of the Sisters Yakut and Ojibwe lineages, it
stands as a living Prayer. Its fierce and tender purpose is clear: to support and empower
the Women Wayshowers and Lightkeepers of this time…Self-Realized, Wise,
Sovereign, and Deeply Rooted.
