Rooted and Radiant: A Spring Embodiment Gathering for Women at Mt. Shasta
Rooted and Radiant: A Spring Embodiment Gathering for Women
Come Rise With The Mountain, Bloom With The Wildflowers, And Step Boldly Into The Light Of A New Season.
There are seasons in life when we tend diligently to our inner gardens...
There are seasons when we lay our tools down and rest...
And then there are seasons when we simply stand boldly in the sunlight, allowing our wholeness to be illuminated.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Join us for five unforgettable days of connection, creation, exploration, and wild‑hearted adventure as we embrace the exquisite beauty of Mother Nature’s awakening season on the Mountain in Mt. Shasta, California — gathering in sisterhood, crafting herbal wellness preparations from the land itself, illuminating our inner wisdom, and remembering what it feels like to be fully alive in our bodies.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
If you’re a woman who’s feeling the pull to shift from continuous self-improvement into trusting the quiet, ancient wisdom already living inside you…
If you are ready to meet the present moment with more self-trust, self-acceptance, and a softer awareness instead of a rigid healing objective...
If you’re ready to soften out of your busy mind and reconnect with your body for deeper calm and nervous system balance…
If you’re longing to uncover the quiet, steady peace that exists beneath daily pressure, expectations, and emotional waves…
If you’re craving creative expression, exploration, adventure, and genuine connection with like-hearted women surrounded by breathtaking alpine nature…
If you are ready to stand boldly, turn your face toward the sun, and beautifully "be" all that you already are...
Then this gathering is indeed for you! ✨
During our time together, we will…
🌿Gather in Ceremony, nourish our bodies, engage in supportive holistic practices, and connect with the quiet wisdom we carry within us.
🌿Wander through the lush forest, guided by a local herbalist who will teach us about the many medicinal herbs that grow wild on the Mountain.
🌿Create a personal Herbal Wellness “Apothecary” kit crafted from various plants native to the area, including a custom tea blend, healing salve, herbal skin care products, etc.
🌿Paint and decorate our very own one-of-a-kind “Mt. Shasta edition” ceramic tea bowls with the guidance of a local artist at her family-owned creative studio.
🌿Hike and explore lower‑elevation trails, frolic in sun‑kissed wildflower meadows, and experience the power and beauty of roaring waterfalls fueled by the spring snowmelt.
🌿Enjoy a scenic catamaran ride across Shasta Lake before venturing into the Lake Shasta Caverns — a breathtaking network of ancient limestone caves tucked into the foothills of Mt. Shasta.
Why Mt. Shasta?
A colossal, snow-capped stratovolcano that rises more than 14,000 feet above Northern California, Mt. Shasta has inspired awe for thousands of years. It has long been revered by many Indigenous communities as a sacred mountain, and in modern spiritual traditions it is often regarded as the Earth's Root Chakra—a symbolic center of grounding, stability, and our deepest connection to the natural world.
Whether you're drawn by its spiritual significance, exquisite landscapes, or simply the opportunity to unplug and immerse yourself in its serenity, there is something undeniably powerful about this mountain. People travel from around the world seeking its beauty, stillness, and stabilizing energy.
Perhaps it's the towering evergreens…
The crystal-clear creeks…
The alpine waterfalls hidden within the forest…
Or maybe it's simply the invitation the mountain quietly offers:
Slow down…
Breathe deeply…
Listen…
and Remember.
The Mountain doesn't ask us to become anything; it simply invites us to show up exactly as we are.
Our Mountain Oasis
Nestled among towering pines in the heart of the Mt. Shasta wilderness, our stunning A-frame mountain cabin is more than a place to stay, it becomes part of the experience.
Surrounded by lush forest and a beautiful year-round creek flowing through the property, this peaceful sanctuary offers the perfect setting to slow down and reconnect with yourself and the natural world.
Wake each morning to birdsong filtering through the trees and sip your coffee on the deck while the forest comes alive around you.
Listen to the soothing sound of the creek as you journal, read, or simply pause.
Every detail of this beautiful mountain oasis invites you to unwind, breathe a little deeper, and embrace the slower rhythm of nature.
An Experience Designed to Bring You Back Into Your Body
Everything about Rooted & Radiant has been intentionally created to awaken your senses and reconnect you with the wisdom of your body.
Instead of rushing from one activity to the next, we'll move with the rhythm of nature and springtime on the Mountain—creating, exploring, laughing, resting, and simply being.
Herbalism Workshop/Herb Walk
Spring is the perfect time for gathering herbs to stock your Herbal Wellness “Apothecary” kit for the year. Guided by a local herbalist, we’ll explore the forest and learn about the many medicinal herbs found on the Mountain. Drawing from local traditions, we’ll then craft our own therapeutic and nourishing herbal preparations to take home.
Create Your Own Mt. Shasta Tea Bowl
During our private pottery experience with a local ceramic artist, each woman will paint and decorate her own ceramic tea bowl, handcrafted just for our group by the artist. This Tea Bowl will also feature a Mt. Shasta keepsake stamp, created exclusively for our group, pressed into the bottom.
Your finished bowl will be glazed, kiln-fired, and shipped to your home after the retreat - a beautiful reminder of everything you experienced here.
Hiking and Waterfalls
Hiking the lower elevations of Mt. Shasta in late April/early May is exceptional because the melting snowpack supercharges the waterfalls creating roaring, high-volume flows, and turns the valleys and surrounding areas a bright green, bursting with vibrant seasonal wildflowers. 🌺🪻Average temperatures during this time average in the 50s/60s F – warm enough to hike comfortably without the oppressive heat of mid-summer.
Cave Exploration
Our 2 hour adventure begins with a scenic catamaran ride across the McCloud Arm of Shasta Lake, followed by a mountaintop bus shuttle, then the journey underground for a guided walking tour inside the illuminated limestone caverns that were formed 250 million years ago.
*Important Note: The guided cave tour is moderately strenuous, covering around 600 stairs (an elevation gain equivalent to an 8-story building) and walking nearly a mile. It is not ideal for those with mobility issues, heart conditions, or extreme fear of small spaces.
Nourishment
Every meal throughout the retreat is thoughtfully prepared using fresh, wholesome ingredients designed to nourish both body and soul.
But nourishment isn't just about food…
It's about slowing down enough to enjoy it,
Sharing laughter around the table,
Or a quiet picnic next to a waterfall,
Savoring meaningful conversations,
And allowing yourself to receive.
Holistic Wellness
A variety of Holistic practices designed to support your nervous system and overall experience will be available for your optional participation throughout the week and chosen by group consensus:
Group Ceremonies • Instructor-led Yoga • Energy Healing • Shamanic Breathwork and Journeying • Sound Healing • Guided Meditation
Time to Simply Be
Some of the most meaningful moments won't be scheduled.
There will be time to wander beneath the trees…
Sip tea on the deck…
Journal by the creek…
Watch the sunlight dance through the forest…
Take a deep breath…Close your eyes…And simply listen.
Because embodiment isn't something we force, It's something we remember.
Rooted in Nature.
Radiant From Within.
